When the coal gas with solid particle and tar enter into electrostatic tar collector and under the high voltage
(40KV~60KV) electric field action condition with positive pole (high voltage direct current electrode, that is
discharge electrode) and negative pole (deposit plate), the coal gas around the electrode will produce ionize
to form electron and positive electricion. The tar will be absorbed by electron and positive electricion when
flowing to form positive electric tar. More and more electric tar will gather together and flow down to the
bottom by gravity. Then the tar can be removed out of Electrostatic Tar Collector.
There is also a part of the positively charged tar particles move to the corona polar, but as a result of corona
only about 10-20 mm in diameter, it moved only 5 ~ 10 mm, while in negative electron tube in addition to the
tar tar particles move at about 100-120 mm.So negative tar particles in the moving tar particles attract
other chance is much, so most of the tar is removed in the precipitation extreme, only a small number of coke
in corona polar except.
